My Sentry360 InSight 500, 10K, and 14K Camera is blurred with ghost like images and out of focus

Solution

How to fix blurred images and out of focused Sentry360 InSight 500, 10K and 14K Cameras

Ghosting and blurring can occur when a camera’s shutter speed is too slow. The shutter speed can be changed by adjusting the Maximum Integration Time. This refers to the camera’s maximum shutter speed, measured in microseconds (μs). This parameter’s default value is 200,000. To adjust this, open the desired camera in the Browser.

Click on Show Settings

Go to the AE/AWB tab

Change the Priority Mode to Shutter and enter in 33,333 in the Max Integration Time field

Setting the integration time to 33,333 would be equal to a standard 1/30 shutter speed. This will increase shutter speed, so less light will be hitting the camera, resulting in a somewhat darker, but clearer image. Keep this in mind when recording in low-light conditions, which may require adjustment of the brightness and contrast settings. Maximum integration time can be adjusted up or down as needed by the light in the scene being recorded, but a generally safe range is between 25,000 and 60,000.
