The FS-D10 is Sentry360’s new FullSight Multi-Sensor Immsersive Camera. Sentry360 Founder and CEO, Thomas Carnevale, discusses the new dual sensor Camera (FS-D10). One sensor is a fixed focal length camera for forensics. The other sensor is a 360-degree panoramic fisheye camera. Some features include Digital PTZ Control, Wide Dynamic Range compatibility, IR Cut Filter, Internal Storage, and six Axis Gimbals.
The body-worn camera market is new and because of that it has its challenges like any new technology. Born out of the law enforcement industry, body-worn cameras are derived from in-car video surveillance systems, which remain proprietary in 2017. To make body-worn cameras more affordable – and to open up market opportunities for integrators in this burgeoning technology space – it is going to take a re-birth of the market itself, along with strong technology partnerships. Through research, we have discovered a large majority of end-users having trouble affording the long-term cloud storage costs simply because no on premise hybrid
Technology has constantly evolved in previous years and we are able to solve many practical surveillance issues with Sentry360’s Ultra-Wide Dynamic Range capability. Images taken from cameras’ without this capability can be overexposed or have a much darker background because of standard camera limitations. Depending on the situation, certain distinctly important parts of the image can be hard to interpret. This issue can cause huge problems for surveillance utilization in many industries, especially law enforcement. Sentry 360’s Ultra-Wide Dynamic Range capability allows for crisp, sharp and legible images.
